Have you been a member of a crew to race in a Dragon Boat? If you haven’t, you are missing an exhilarating experience. We can help you to get it as we have been doing this the last six years. Mark the date, May 5, 2012. Since we launched the Charlotte Dragon Boat/Asian Festival in 2006, the event has been a big success in terms of community participation and attendance level.
The event promotes and embraces competition, fair play, team building, community cohesiveness, culture and history. Teams that joined included those from the business community, non-profit organizations, high schools, colleges, citizen groups and, breast cancer survivor teams from Atlanta and Charleston and Canada. We Need your generous donation to help us secure a replacement boat for $7,500. Our practice boat purchased in 2006 has been repaired a number of times and despite of our effort, its fiberglass hull is getting close to its service limit.
